MEET THE DOCTOR
Matthew D. Kangas, M.D.
Dr. Matthew D. Kangas is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician who has served patients throughout the Memphis area since 2016. With advanced training in Pain Medicine from the University of Michigan Health System, he specializes in minimally invasive treatments designed to provide meaningful, lasting relief.
As founder of Apollo Spine & Pain, Dr. Kangas believes exceptional care begins with listening, understanding each patient’s experience, and taking the time to reach an accurate diagnosis. From there, he develops an individualized treatment plan based on each patient’s condition, goals, and needs, with a thoughtful, personal approach to helping them move forward with less pain and a better quality of life.
